Pictures make an impact: 5 ways to add images to your Activities

Images help people connect with your presentation and add a fun visual element to your Activities. Images add an additional level of engagement and are more likely to be remembered. Incorporating images is another way of assessing a group and driving home content through a different form.

Your organization is unique and so should be your presentations. Adding visual elements is one of the best ways to customize your presentation to fit the needs of your organization.

With Poll Everywhere, customizing your Activity flow with images can be done in a variety of ways. Here are five ways to add images to your Activities:

1. As a clickable image Activity

Clickable Images are a fun way to interact with your audience. Responses appear on the image itself as green pointers. You can also assign correctness to sections of the image to facilitate grading and reporting.

2. As a multiple choice selection

Add images to Multiple Choice response options rather than text. For example, you could use this as an icebreaker by uploading pictures of snacks and then asking the audience what their favorite snack is.

3. As a background image

You can include an image as the background of any Activity without altering the function of the Activity itself. Responses appear above the image. (Just remember to adjust the transparency to ensure readability.)

4. As a logo image in the title bar

Place an image in the title bar either with text or without. You can align it to the left, the right, or keep it centered.

5. On the Instructions View

You can insert an image into the instructions views so that it appears to the left of your multiple-choice options. This is useful when the question has a visual component.

Adding images to your activities will take your presentation to the next level and keep participants engaged. Take some time today to learn more about adding visual elements to your Poll Everywhere Activities.
