Job Process Transparency:
- Submit your application: Start by filling out the online application and responding to the longer-form questions. We encourage you to sign up for a 2.0 account and use our product! We will respond to every candidate’s application so you know where you stand in our process.
- Interviews, salary range, and task assignment: If your application moves forward, we’ll reach out to schedule your first interview. The overall interview process includes chats with People Operations, the hiring manager and team(s), and may include a task assignment, depending on the role. Be prepared to chat about every role you’ve had in detail - we want to dig in and hear about what you worked on, how you work with others and what you’ve learned. We will vary the sequence to fit the scope and team, but you’ll always have a chance to showcase your skills and get a clear picture of the work, the team, and our values. The more questions you have for us, the better! We include the salary range in every job description, which is calculated using benchmarked industry data and adjusted for your location. We may also want to meet you IRL and will follow up with you directly if this is the case. We think this is an important step to understanding who you are and provides everyone involved the best opportunity for authentic engagement.
- Reference and background check: Before we make an offer, we’ll conduct extensive reference checks to better understand the context of your prior work and the strengths you will bring to this role and Poll Everywhere. We also run background checks as part of our process, both to meet compliance requirements and to help ensure a safe, trusted environment for everyone.
- Decision: Once all steps are complete, the hiring committee will make a final decision. If we move forward, you’ll receive an official offer to join the team. Either way, you’ll hear from us! We never leave candidates hanging.
